St. Andrew Parish supports a Religious Education Program for our children who attend public schools. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. and are taught by volunteers who have prepared well to share their faith. This year our classes will begin on September 3rd and registrations will be accepted until September 4th..
Children who are in Second Grade are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. This preparation begins when they register for Grade One classes, and they must be in the program for two years before receiving the Sacraments. Confirmation is usually conferred upon students who are in the 7th and 8th Grade. Children preparing for Confirmation must also be in the Religious Education Program for two years before receiving the Sacrament. Confirmation is for those in grades 6th or 7th and must be in the program for two years to be eligible for this Sacrament.
